Cruelty free and low waste skincare kit 🧖🏻‍♀️

Small blue purse with beauty products spilling out. Laid out on floral cloth.

⋆ Oil - I used oil as a moisturiser even before going low waste because I felt moisturisers were too thick and made me break out. I feel like oil is closer to the natural moisture on my skin so replicates it nicely. Now it’s a win win with the low waste glass packaging. 🌼

⋆ Tweezers - metal is much better than plastic in every way! ✨

⋆ Eco toothbrush - I’ve been liking this little guy however it’s not as rough as I like it (😉) once I wear this one out I’ll grab a harder bristled one. I wanna love it but I need firmer bristles for good dental hygiene and thats something I won’t compromise on! 🦷

⋆ Spoolie - for the brows that have a mind of their own (get it cos the brain is up there with them) 🧠

⋆ Eyelash curler - I use this instead of mascara so it’s saving a lot of mascara containers. I figured the thing about applying sticky dry black stuff to your lashes then wiping it off all the time is that it makes them thinner and fall out more than if you left them alone. Also for me, I used to react to every mascara and get headaches from wearing it so that’s a big reason I stopped too. To be fair I do have naturally longer eyelashes so it would be a bit rich for me to tell everyone to just curl them if they have a lot less to curl, but a generous curl with a bit of oil can make them look really nice. 👁

⋆ Scissors - for the brows and also clothes tags and sewing stuff... the list goes on. 😂✂️

⋆ Face wash - this is the Lush Tea Totaler Cleansing Balm. it’s an oil based cleanser which works nicely to remove the days oil but I’m on the lookout for an oil free one to use after to make sure I remove all this oil lol. 🧼

⋆ Purse - I got this in Paris from a second hand store. It even says ‘Made in Paris’, which is just adorable 😂👛

Remember that your beauty routine should never come at the expense of other animals 🐁💕 because then there’s no beauty in it at all. ✌🏼
